Two ways to earn. You don't need to pick one.

Share a link. Or build a skill. Or both. Here's exactly how it works.

"I didn't know what a referral program was either. Here's how I'd explain it to my mom."

Let's start from zero

There are two ways to earn on {{appName}}. You can use one or both. Neither requires any experience.

The first way: share a link. When someone subscribes through it, you earn 10% of every payment they ever make. Not just the first month - every month, forever, as long as they're subscribed. The second way: build a skill. A skill is a custom AI setup you configure and publish. When someone signs up through your skill's link, you earn an extra 5% on their payments - permanently. Even better: that 5% is yours as the skill's author, even when someone else shares your skill. You build it once; it keeps working.

One-time vs recurring - why it matters

Most referral programs pay you once. unbottled.ai's pays you forever. Here's what that looks like in practice:

TypeYou earnWhen
One-time bonus (e.g. restaurant voucher)Fixed rewardOnce
Per-sale affiliate (e.g. Amazon)~3–10% of saleOnce per purchase
{{appName}} referral10% of subscriptionEvery month, forever

Refer someone in January. If they're still subscribed in December, you've earned from them 12 times. You did the work once.

There's also a chain - here's how it works

This is the part that sounds complicated but isn't. When the people you refer go on to refer others, you earn a small cut from those payments too. Here's the exact breakdown:

You refer Alice. Alice subscribes - you earn 10% of her payments, forever. Alice refers Bob. Bob subscribes - you earn ~5% of Bob's payments (half of 10%, because he's one level deeper). Bob refers Carol - you earn ~2.5% of Carol's payments. And so on, up to 5 levels deep. Each level earns you half of the level above it.

In practice: the direct 10% from people you refer yourself is where almost all your income comes from. The chain bonuses are real but small. Don't rely on them - treat them as a bonus.

You don't need to think about the chain at all to get started. Create a link, share it, earn 10% from whoever signs up.

Realistic expectations - no hype

Here's the honest math:

Casual user
~$8/mo average spend
= $0.80/mo per referral (or $1.20/mo via skill link)
Developer / heavy AI user
$200+/mo
= $20+/mo per referral (or $30+/mo via skill link)
One developer referral via a skill link earns you $30/mo. That's more than 37 casual users. Developers are the high-value target - they already spend $100–200/mo on AI tools and rarely cancel.

Refer 10 average users via referral link: $8/mo for you. Same 10 via a skill link: $12/mo. Not life-changing - but it's money you earned by saying something you'd say anyway.

Your first steps (5 minutes)

1
Create a free account
No paid plan needed. The referral program is open to everyone.
2
Go to your referral dashboard
Open the referral page. Create a code - anything memorable works.
3
Share your link - or publish a skill
Referral link: post it anywhere you'd naturally mention AI tools. Skill link: build a simple skill first, then share its link. Both work. Both earn.
4
Check your dashboard
Visitors, signups, and earnings update in real time. No minimum spend to start tracking.

That's really all there is to it

You don't need a blog. You don't need followers. You don't need to understand multi-level math. You just need to tell people about something you actually use - and optionally build a simple skill that earns on its own.
